Pregnant.
It’s a pregnancy test. OMG, look! Two lines! Two freaking lines! I still couldn’t believe it. Just this morning, I found out that my sister is pregnant again. Haha. Kala nyo ako no? Of course, a baby is always a blessing. It’s been a while since we had a baby in the family. Now, a new one’s coming. May kapatid na sina Nicole (10 this June) and Andrei (7 this Nov). May bago na naman akong pamangkin! When Nicole and Andrei were super young, I had the chance to take care of them. As in magpalit ng diapers, maghugas ng ***** nila, magpaligo sa kanila, magpalit ng damit, magpunas ng pawis sa likod, magpatahan kapag umiiyak, makipaglaro sa kanila, makipag-baby talk, kargahin sila, pakainin, etc… kulang na lang padedehin ko na sila from my own breasts. Haha. Because of my pamangkins, na-experience ko na kung pano maging isang ina. And through my experience as a second mother to them, I could really attest that being a mother is a real hard work. But I am just a tita. I can’t feel exactly what my sister feels towards her children, of course. Whenever one of them is sick, I worry. But I know, yong worry na napi-feel ko, walang-wala pa yon sa kalingkingan ng napi-feel ng ate ko. I see how my sister worries a lot in those situations, especially whenever they both get sick. She even cried in pain for her children. Lagi kong nasasabi, ang hirap talaga maging isang ina. At dahil parang na-experience ko na kung paano ang maging isang ina through my pamangkins, wala nang thrill para sa kin ang maging isang nanay, marami na rin akong fears. Parang ayoko nang magkaanak tuloy. Haha. Yes, I don’t want to have a baby of my own. I feel as if I can’t take the job of a mother efficiently. Am I too immature for that matter or I just got too used up of taking care of my pamangkins? Or maybe I am afraid to handle such a very huge responsibility… I dunno. But as of now, I don’t really see myself as a mom. I am not ready to handle such a very hard task. I still couldn’t imagine myself, growing a huge tummy and getting fat and worrying about my steps and diet. Maybe soon, I’ll think about being a mother. But for now, I want to enjoy being someone who does not have any responsibility other than myself. ADVANCE HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY TO ALL MOTHERS!

Akalain mo nga naman. second time ko na tong sumasali sa Candymag Blog Awards. Second time ko na din nasasali sa finalists/semi-finalists for Best Blog Design. It only goes to say that... walang kwenta mga posts ko, no-brainer! kaya hanggang Best Design category lang ako hahaha. Actually, I'm not expecting to win. HONEST. Gusto ko lang umepal sa mga teens kaya ako sumali. Fortunately, nagbunga ang pag-uumepal ko kaya here I am again, kasama sa semi-finalists. I guess, last blog awards, walang semi-finalists, finalists agad. So, lumelevel up ang candymag kaya may semi na. Hindi talaga ako nag-eexpect na manalo. Subic Escapade.
May 9, 2008. PHR Subic Exposure Trip. I was with my co-writers, editors, ed-in-chief and bossing. Nakakaloka ang trip na ito. Bakit? Basta. hehe. 1. Claudia, me and Sonia in Hotel Stotsenberg. Ang dami pang pictures pero I can't post them all. hehe. kahit medyo bitin, I enjoyed the exposure trip. Next trip plan-Baguio!
